Graduate/Junior Software Engineer – Banking Infrastructure

About the role

KobbleKobble is looking for a graduate or junior software engineer to join its banking‑infrastructure team. You will work on the core systems that enable fintechs, neobanks and enterprises to launch cards, wallets, accounts and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain API services that customers integrate with.
• Develop and support the real‑time ledger tracking every transaction.
• Support Australian payment rails such as NPP, PayID, PayTo and BECS.
• Contribute to card‑issuing, digital‑wallet and stored‑value features.
• Assist with compliance tooling, including transaction monitoring and reporting.
• Write tests, documentation and clean, reviewable code.

Required profile

• A degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic coding ability in TypeScript and a strong interest in learning the rest of the stack.
• Genuine curiosity about fintech, payments and financial systems.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup from Melbourne or Brisbane.
