Graduate Speech Pathologist (2026 Intake)

About the role

A private practice offering paediatric speech pathology, occupational therapy and psychology across four clinic locations in Queensland is recruiting a 2026 graduate speech pathologist for a midyear intake. The role is clinic-based and community-focused, within a multi-disciplinary team of experienced practitioners.

Required profile

• Full Australian work rights
• Registration as a Speech Pathologist with the Speech Pathology Association (SPA) or eligibility to obtain it
• Degree in Speech Pathology
• Police check and Working with Children check (or ability to obtain them before starting)

What we offer

• Base salary of $80,000, superannuation of $9,600 and a PD allowance of up to $3,000, for a total package of $93,600
• Two-week induction followed by 12 months of ongoing training and development
• Slowly increasing caseload with support from senior speech pathologists, plus weekly 1:1 internal supervision and monthly peer supervision
• Monthly in-service professional development and a $3,000 budget for further PD
• Paid parental leave of up to 12 weeks, up to 5 weeks annual leave including bonus leave, and flexible hours between 7.30am and 5.30pm
• Client service team handles admin, bookings and the waitlist; choice of clinic or community work and the option to work from home
