Graduate Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

We are a venture‑backed AI startup focused on accelerating ESG compliance and sustainability reporting. As a Graduate Software Engineer you will join the leadership team, report directly to the CEO, and help build production‑grade software from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain features in a Vue.js frontend and Node.js backend.
• Build and optimise data pipelines that connect to enterprise sources such as SharePoint, OneDrive and Google Drive.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support AI agents and custom workflows.
• Integrate large‑language‑model capabilities, using AI coding tools and prompt engineering.
• Own QA and testing: write automated tests, run structured UAT, maintain release checklists and uphold quality standards.
• Work on SOC 2‑compliant infrastructure to ensure bank‑grade security.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of professional experience (recent graduates strongly encouraged).
• Exceptional academic record in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• AI‑native mindset – already using AI tools for coding, review and testing.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proactive ownership of features from conception to deployment.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn ESG/sustainability reporting.
• Full Australian working rights (post‑study visa holders welcome).
