Graduate Physiotherapist - NDIS Community Program 2027

About the role

Better Rehab is recruiting a Graduate Physiotherapist for its 2027 program, based in Newcastle. It is a community-based role supporting NDIS participants aged 6 to 65 years across a varied caseload, including neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and motor neurone disease. Therapy is delivered in homes, day centres, parks and clinics, and the program is described as being built by clinicians, for clinicians, with structure, mentorship and flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans
• Build long-term relationships with participants and see their progress
• Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team

Required profile

• Physiotherapy qualification, graduating in 2026 or January 2027
• Passion for supporting people with disability
• Driver's licence and own vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain them)
