Graduate Engineer – Geotechnical & Tunnel Engineering (Feb 2027 Program)

About the role

As a Graduate Engineer in Geotechnical & Tunnel Engineering, you will join Surbana Jurong’s two‑year Graduate Development Program, working on major infrastructure projects across Australia and the Asia‑Pacific region. You will gain hands‑on experience from day one while receiving structured learning, mentoring and exposure to multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support site investigations, data collection and interpretation for geotechnical projects.
• Assist in soil and rock assessments and prepare technical reports under senior engineer guidance.
• Participate in ground investigations and site visits to understand subsurface conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical inputs into overall project delivery.
• Apply industry standards, tools and best practices through on‑the‑job experience and formal workshops.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn.
• Exposure to geotechnical or modelling tools, GIS or data analysis software is advantageous.
