Graduate Design Engineer - Electrical

About the role

The Plan B Group, Victoria's largest provider of integrated electrical services to the land development industry, is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer who graduated within the last two years. The role sits in the Design Team and follows a structured, supervised development program that builds both technical and management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs and specifications for overhead and underground distribution networks, public lighting systems and AS3000-compliant installations.
• Support the design and management of electrical infrastructure for large residential developments.
• Assist with stakeholder and project management on major projects with lifecycles over 10 years and values over $1 billion.
• Work closely with Victorian electricity distributors, local councils, developers and other industry stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Graduated within the last two years.
• Current Victorian driver's licence.
• Previous exposure to the electrical distribution industry is highly regarded.

Required skills

• AutoCAD experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn in a collaborative team.
