Graduate Architect / Designer (Melbourne)

About the role

Arup is looking for a Graduate Architect/Designer to join its Melbourne team. You will develop design, technical and delivery skills across a variety of building typologies while working in a multidisciplinary environment focused on sustainable architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Support architectural design and planning projects, creating concepts, layouts and schematic drawings.
• Develop and refine 3D design models using Revit, Rhino and other modelling tools.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants and clients to produce coordinated design solutions and project documentation.
• Prepare presentations, graphics and visual materials to communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
• Contribute to reports, technical documents and project deliverables ensuring high‑quality content.

Required profile

• Recognised Master of Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• 2‑5 years of post‑graduation experience in an architectural design firm.
• Experience with projects in transport, rail, industry, technology, energy or water sectors is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Rhino.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
• Grasshopper and scripting experience.
• Experience with Lumion, Unreal Engine or other rapid visualisation software.
