Graduate Analyst, Actuarial Consulting

About the role

Mercer, part of Marsh, is looking for a Graduate Analyst to join its Actuarial Consulting team within Marsh Investments and Retirement. The role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney and is hybrid, with at least three days a week spent in the office. You will support senior consultants on superannuation (defined benefit and defined contribution) and life insurance within superannuation, with a buddy and people manager helping you build your own career path.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to senior consultants on superannuation and life insurance within superannuation
• Deliver client-facing consulting, research and analysis, quantitative modelling and report writing
• Work alongside Marsh's actuarial consultants on complex problems such as business sustainability and efficiency, competitive product offerings and retirement income strategies

Required profile

• Recently graduated or in final year with a numerate degree and an interest or experience in the actuarial field
• Curious, strong communicator, interested in data-driven insights, inclusive and collaborative
• Willing to roll up their sleeves and able to work in Australia
