Grade 2 Physiotherapist (Acute Orthopaedics)

About the role

St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne is hiring a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to start in February 2027. The position is permanent part-time, 21 hours per week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, at the Fitzroy campus. You will work alongside experienced physiotherapists supporting patient-centred care for an acute orthopaedic, vascular and sarcoma surgery caseload, with opportunities to help in spinal surgery and general medicine.

Required profile

• Competent team member in orthopaedic clinical practice, able to deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care
• Minimum of 4 years of postgraduate physiotherapy experience
• Experience managing an orthopaedic caseload and neurology (spinal surgery) is an advantage
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, flexible teamwork and ability to prioritise competing tasks
• Enthusiastic, dedicated, adaptable and friendly, with a philosophy of continual improvement and evidence-based practice
