Google Ads Specialist

About the role

The Google Ads Specialist manages end-to-end Google Ads campaigns, covering strategy, setup, optimisation, reporting and client support. The role delivers clear, well-explained weekly reports and guides clients through their questions and advertising results. It is a full-time position based in the Australian Eastern Standard Time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data-driven Google Ads strategies aligned with client goals and set up campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, Remarketing and other formats.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and audience targeting, and create ad copy with proper tracking (UTMs, conversions, analytics).
• Monitor daily performance and adjust bids, budgets, keywords and targeting; run A/B tests and recommend improvements.
• Prepare weekly performance reports, track KPIs across Google Ads, Google Analytics and other tools, and explain results to clients.
• Keep campaigns compliant with Google Ads policies, monitor disapproved ads and tracking issues, and document campaign changes.
• Work with creative, content, web and operations teams and stay up to date on Google Ads trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns end-to-end.
• Excellent written and spoken English, able to explain complex advertising concepts simply.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and proactive, comfortable handling multiple clients and deadlines.
