Gold Room Operator

About the role

Bellevue Gold Limited operates its 100% owned high-grade Bellevue gold mine in Western Australia, about 30 km north of Leinster, with underground mining since late 2020 and a forecast production of around 150,000 gold ounces per year. The Gold Room Operator runs all sections of the Gold Room and associated equipment safely, productively and efficiently while maintaining a high level of security. The position is full-time, 12 hours per day on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Help the Processing Department achieve budgeted production targets, including tonnes treated, gold produced and plant recovery
• Operate Gold Room equipment such as smelting, bullion transfer and filtration
• Maintain accurate records of gold bullion inventory
• Keep up to date with other parts of the Processing Plant so you can support the team as a Process Operator when needed
• Monitor stock levels of reagents and consumables
• Maintain good housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness
• Carry out other duties requested by the Supervisor or Manager

Required profile

• At least 1 year of gold room experience
• Process plant experience desirable
• Valid WA C class driver's licence
• Good communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time and meet deadlines
