General Practitioner – Toowoomba

About the role

A modern, well-staffed general practice in Toowoomba, Queensland, is looking for an experienced GP who completed their GP training in the UK, Ireland or New Zealand. The practice is described as warm and friendly, with a family-centred approach and personalised care, and is expanding to meet growing patient demand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general health care, men's, women's and children's health, immunisations, skin cancer and minor procedures, and chronic health care
• Offer pre-employment medicals, antenatal and postnatal care, and care for indigenous and refugee patients
• Share a mission to deliver high-quality, preventative care for the whole family

Required profile

• Experienced GP with training completed in the UK, Ireland or New Zealand
• UK GPs must hold MRCGP and CCT (under any RCGP curriculum from 2007)
• Irish GPs must hold MICGP and CSCST (from 2009)
• NZ GPs must hold FRNZCGP (from 2012 onwards) and have satisfactorily completed GPEP
• Applicants may come through the AHPRA expedited pathway or as FACRRM/FRACGP holders
