Occupational Therapist - Toowoomba

About the role

Pacific Health and Wellbeing is an allied health practice of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists, registered as an NDIS provider in several Australian cities. It is recruiting a full-time Occupational Therapist (all levels of experience welcome) to join its Toowoomba team. The practice offers a mobile community service, telehealth and some in-clinic appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, ethical and safe occupational therapy services across the lifespan
• Assess clients and collaborate with them and stakeholders to design and implement therapy programs
• Assess and prescribe home modifications and assistive technology to increase safety, independence or quality of life
• Complete assessments and reports supporting life transitions and goal attainment
• Communicate with key stakeholders to support client outcomes
• Take part in identifying new client opportunities and referrals
• Engage in professional development and participate in team activities

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• NDIS Disability Worker Screening clearance, or ability to obtain it
• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain it
• Current driver's licence and unrestricted right to work in Australia
• Preferred: working knowledge of the NDIS and mixed caseload experience
