General Practitioner (Part-Time, Casual)

About the role

Serco, through its partnership with Bupa, provides integrated on-base healthcare to Australian Defence Force personnel at Amberley Health Centre, which serves over 6,500 RAAF members. This is a civilian, casual part-time General Practitioner position at Amberley, Queensland, with no enlistment required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members in an occupational medicine environment.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Conduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre- and post-deployment care.
• Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership.
• Provide occupational medicine services.

Required profile

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration.
• At least two years of GP experience in the last five years.
• Australian citizenship (baseline security clearance).
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care.
