About the role
A busy 2.5-doctor practice in Inverell, northern NSW, is recruiting a GP. The practice has modern premises with on-site pathology, physiotherapy and OT services, and specialists visit monthly. It is a RACGP-accredited practice with full-time nursing staff, and there is no after-hours work in the clinic, though VMO/emergency work at the local hospital can be offered to doctors with family medicine and emergency skills.
Required profile
- Rural generalist or specialist GP
- Family medicine and emergency skills desired; surgery, anaesthetics and obstetrics optional
- Overseas-trained doctors are eligible under the DPA location scheme
What we offer
- Salary of AUD 350,000+ per year
- Visa sponsorship available
- 60/65% billings depending on pathway and qualification
- Subsidised accommodation for 6 months and possible relocation payments
- Five-year scheme to reduce the moratorium
- Opportunity to supervise trainees, influence models of care and teach through the University of New England
