General Practitioner (GP) – Full/Part Time

About the role

Join Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service as a General Practitioner delivering culturally safe primary care to Aboriginal communities across Perth and surrounding clinics. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality medical services, health promotion and chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general practice consultations, including women’s and children’s health.
• Lead and mentor clinical staff and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to clinical policy development, accreditation processes and continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure accurate Medicare claiming and utilisation of digital health tools.
• Coordinate care with allied health specialists for integrated patient management.

Required profile

• Registered General Practitioner with AHPRA (FRACGP, FACRRM or vocational registration).
• Current provider and prescriber numbers.
• Strong communication, teamwork and cultural awareness of Aboriginal health values.
• Valid Working with Children check, recent National Police Clearance and driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel between clinics and work a minimum of 0.4 FTE (2 days per week).
