General Practice Nurse

About the role

This full‑time General Practice Nurse position is based on‑site at Gold Coast Medical Centre, providing person‑centred clinical care under the guidance of general practitioners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures, administer medications and vaccinations, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide triage, wound care, immunisations, chronic disease management and health assessments.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, support patient education, and manage recalls and follow‑ups.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, assist with minor procedures and ensure compliance with infection control and practice policies.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement activities and uphold a safe, respectful, inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Demonstrated experience in general practice or primary‑care nursing, including triage, wound care and chronic disease management.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning, professional development and quality improvement.
