General Manager - Product (6‑Month Fixed Term)

About the role

Datacom is seeking an experienced General Manager – Product to lead a team of product managers and drive the strategy, execution and commercial success of a diverse portfolio focused on managed IT outsourcing, Service Desk operations and customer experience technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing product management team.
• Define and execute strategic product visions and roadmaps aligned with company objectives.
• Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to increase recurring revenue and support market growth.
• Champion customer‑centric decision‑making using deep insights and market analysis.

Required profile

• Proven senior product leadership experience delivering successful products at scale.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to align product initiatives with business goals.
• Extensive experience in managed IT outsourcing environments and service delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• ITIL framework application and continuous improvement.
• ITSM (IT Service Management) principles.
• Service Desk operations and customer experience technology ecosystems.
