General Manager - Premium Office Asset (Expressions of Interest)

About the role

JLL is seeking expressions of interest for a General Manager to lead operations at one of Melbourne's premium-grade office assets, in a potential upcoming opportunity. This is a high-profile role managing a flagship property, with accountability for asset performance, tenant relationships and team leadership. It is an expressions of interest campaign only.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Asset Manager on strategic plans covering asset positioning, leasing, capital works and marketing, and report on KPIs while delivering on contractual obligations
• Lead sustainability initiatives and ensure data collection and reporting within agreed timeframes
• Develop customer retention programmes, lead lease renewal negotiations and engage proactively with tenants
• Maximise financial performance through budget management, revenue optimisation and analysis of financial data and market trends
• Build a high-performing team, manage performance, training and succession planning, and partner with owners, investors, contractors and service providers
• Ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards, manage risk (public liability, safety, emergency preparedness), and maintain contract registers and compliance reporting

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Victorian Agents Representative Licence or Real Estate Licence required
• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in A-grade or premium office assets
• Deep knowledge of the Melbourne commercial office market
