General Manager Finance – Group Planning & Performance (2IC to CFO)

About the role

The General Manager Finance – Group Planning & Performance will act as the second‑in‑command to the Group CFO, driving transformation across FP&A, performance management, property and procurement. This senior leader will partner closely with the CFO and CEO to shape the financial strategy of a $10bn+ ASX‑listed multinational.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams in Group FP&A, finance business partnering, capital & strategic investments, property and procurement.
• Strengthen processes, technology and people across these functions.
• Design and implement an enterprise‑wide performance management cadence with centralized data, analytics and insights.
• Collaborate with the Strategy function to refresh strategic planning and manage the ongoing strategic plan.
• Build commercial finance capability within corporate functions, especially in partnership with Group Technology.
• Deliver Board reporting and non‑statutory investor reporting, supporting full‑year and half‑year results releases.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in large, complex, listed organisations.
• Proven track record in FP&A, enterprise performance management and external/investor reporting.
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen with the ability to influence executive teams.
• Readiness to serve as 2IC and eventual successor to the Group CFO.
