Garment Technician – Own Brand

About the role

The Iconic is seeking a Garment Technician to join its Own Brand team, creating tech packs, managing fit sessions and ensuring high‑quality garment production for its fast‑fashion e‑commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Create initial tech packs with detailed construction instructions, measurements and fabric requirements.
• Measure garments, provide quality feedback and ensure suppliers meet fit and make standards.
• Organise and lead fit sessions to maintain consistent sizing.
• Support designers with expert knowledge of fabrics, construction and performance.
• Liaise daily with Chinese suppliers on fit comments, re‑fits, fabrics, finishes and grading.
• Meet CP deadlines, approve fabric test reports and final bulk garment inspections.
• Analyse high‑return styles to improve fit and quality and continuously optimise production processes.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years’ experience in a similar fast‑fashion role.
• Tertiary education in design, pattern making and grading.
• Strong knowledge of garment production, quality control and fabric testing.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
