Full‑time Production Operator – Dairy Manufacturing

About the role

Norco is seeking an experienced Production Operator to join its busy milk‑processing factory in Raleigh. This full‑time position is part of a supportive team that ensures dairy products move safely from farm to fridge.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery in a food‑manufacturing environment.
• Maintain hygiene standards and follow food safety procedures.
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues quickly to minimise downtime.
• Complete order documentation with accurate literacy and numeracy.
• Work shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays, to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving ability.
• Reliability and willingness to work shift work.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately with minimal supervision.
• Good time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Machine operation in a manufacturing setting.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Familiarity with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) principles.
