Full-Time Production Operator – Bega Group

About the role

Join Bega Group’s Ridge Street site on the Sapphire Coast of NSW as a full‑time Production Operator. You will help produce a range of high‑quality cheeses, from blocks and shredded varieties to slices and specialty cheeses, supporting the company’s $50 million transformation and growth plans through 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment safely in accordance with procedures and standards.
• Carry out production activities to meet daily and weekly schedules and targets.
• Perform quality checks and follow work instructions to ensure product specifications are met.
• Monitor machines and processes, identifying and escalating any issues promptly.
• Contribute to a positive team culture through communication, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety standards.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high‑quality output.
• Clear communicator who works well in a team, reliable, flexible and willing to learn.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster (24/5, 24/6 or 24/7) covering day, afternoon and night shifts.
