Full-time Footwear Sales Assistant in Parramatta

About the role

JD Sports is looking for an enthusiastic Full‑time Footwear Sales Assistant to join its Parramatta store. Working Sunday to Thursday, you will be the face of the brand, delivering a memorable shopping experience for customers who love sport, music and fashion.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date product knowledge to advise customers on the latest footwear and apparel.
• Provide personalised 1:1 customer service, handling queries and processing sales.
• Collaborate with management and the wider store team to achieve KPIs and sales targets.
• Support visual merchandising, store cleanliness and presentation.
• Escalate any customer complaints to management promptly.
• Complete mandatory training on product, policy and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for sports fashion and familiarity with key brands.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever‑changing store setting.
• Excellent communication and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
