Full Stack Engineer (JavaScript) – Remote/Hybrid

About the role

DotCollective is looking for a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to join its newly created Connect Product squad. You will help design, build and maintain high‑performance eCommerce solutions for a range of leading retail brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of scalable eCommerce platforms using React, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Work with Shopify Plus and contribute to DotCollective’s position as a key Shopify+ Partner.
• Collaborate with UX designers, delivery leads and management to scope, estimate and deliver projects.
• Assist in architecting solutions and deployments on AWS or GCP.
• Maintain high documentation standards across GitHub, Slack and other internal tools.
• Mentor fellow engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript and experience with AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Shopify Plus and strong understanding of eCommerce best practices.
• Knowledge of headless CMS frameworks such as Sanity or Storyblok.
• Working knowledge of Three.JS or similar creative technologies for animation.
• Ability to scope and break down projects into clear, manageable tasks.
• Comfortable in client‑facing roles and strong written communication skills.
