Full Stack Engineer - AEM Assets

About the role

This is a remote full stack engineer position focused on AEM Assets, Dynamic Media and Content Hub, covering asset pipelines, rendition workflows and multi-brand portals that distribute content to the right channels for each brand. The role works closely with senior engineers and architects. Candidates familiar with the Indian market and its business environment are preferred. Working hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Melbourne time.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support AEM Assets, including Dynamic Media renditions/Smart Crops and DAM workflows
• Set up and maintain multi-brand portals in Content Hub, with brand-specific collections, permissions and distribution channels
• Structure, tag and distribute content and assets across brands through Content Hub
• Build and maintain AEM Sites components, templates and Sling Models under senior guidance
• Develop backend services in Java, contributing to integration with enterprise systems
• Own features within a sprint, escalate design questions to senior engineers or architects and take part in Agile ceremonies

Required profile

• 4+ years in full stack software engineering, with hands-on AEM experience
• Experience configuring multi-brand portals in Content Hub, including collections, permissions and distribution channels
• AEM Sites component and template development, Sling Models, HTL/Sightly and OSGi services
• Core Java (Java 8+), Spring and RESTful API design
• React JS or an equivalent modern frontend framework
• Agile experience, including active participation in Scrum ceremonies

Nice to have

• Exposure to multi-brand content governance, metadata taxonomy design or DAM information architecture
• Exposure to AEMaaCS Cloud Manager/Dispatcher/CDN configuration, and to Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
• An Adobe certification (e.g. AEM Assets/Sites Developer)
