Full Stack Developer

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to support both business‑as‑usual and project‑based releases across a suite of critical applications. You will work in an Agile delivery team, contributing to system enhancements, new features, integrations and platform improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality code according to technical specifications and standards.
• Support BAU releases, enhancements and project initiatives.
• Participate in technical design activities and solution implementation.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers and stakeholders to manage design changes and minimise delivery impact.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Assist with build, testing, deployment and release activities following Agile governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex digital and technology projects.
• Strong background working with Azure cloud environments and PaaS solutions.
• Experience developing cloud‑native applications using Azure best practices.
• Previous experience in large, complex organisations; government experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications or formal qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Familiarity with release and change management tools such as Azure DevOps or Confluence.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile delivery teams.

Required skills

• Azure PaaS solution delivery, Azure Functions and related services.
• Infrastructure deployment and automation with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines and BICEP.
• Modern .NET development (preferably .NET 7+).
• RESTful API development, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, API lifecycle management and security.
• Authentication, authorisation, input validation and error handling.
• Microsoft SQL Server, SQL scripting and SOAP integrations.
• Unit testing and automated testing practices.
• Application monitoring using tools such as Application Insights.
