About the role

Join TikTok LIVE's revenue engineering team in Sydney to build cutting‑edge gifting and revenue features for millions of users and live streamers. You will work on high‑impact, full‑stack solutions that drive a seamless and secure live‑stream experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop core business modules end‑to‑end, ensuring stability, scalability and optimal user experience.
• Lead front‑end technology selection, drive architectural optimisation, improve code quality and system performance, and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Provide full‑stack technical support, including database optimisation and interface development, using cloud‑native and micro‑services technologies.
• Manage agile development progress, build and optimise engineering toolchains and CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Conduct post‑project reviews, fill knowledge gaps, track emerging technologies and promote innovation within the team.

Required profile

• Expertise in agile development, progress control and engineering toolchains.
• Strong experience in performance optimisation, CI/CD and troubleshooting.
• More than 5 years of experience developing frontend web applications, with solid knowledge of backend technologies, databases and cloud‑native micro‑services.
• Proactive attitude towards technical learning, open‑source contribution and continuous improvement.
