Frontend Software Engineer - Gaming

About the role

This position is for a Frontend Software Engineer focused on gaming experiences. You will work in a high‑performance environment delivering scalable, high‑traffic web applications for multiple global gaming brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality frontend applications that are performant and responsive across devices.
• Build reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks and a component‑driven architecture.
• Implement new features and enhance existing flows such as game discovery and lobbies.
• Integrate frontend code with RESTful APIs and real‑time services (e.g., WebSockets).
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery.
• Contribute to a multi‑brand frontend architecture, including micro‑frontend patterns and shared component systems.
• Ensure code quality through unit and integration testing, performance optimisation, and best‑practice adherence.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade web applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in at least one modern framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating real‑time data services.
• Understanding of state‑management patterns and scalable frontend architecture.
• Comfortable working in agile, cross‑functional teams.
