Front Office Manager (Live-in) – Kings Canyon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the front‑office team at Discovery Kings Canyon. This full‑time, live‑in position will ensure seamless guest experiences in a fast‑paced hospitality environment set in the heart of the Australian outback.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑office operations including check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations and guest enquiries.
• Lead, coach and mentor the front‑office team to deliver exceptional service.
• Manage rosters, staffing levels and labour costs in line with budget requirements.
• Monitor occupancy, room availability and revenue opportunities, sharing forecasts with other departments.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle financial processes such as billing, cash handling, reconciliations and reporting.
• Drive operational efficiencies, uphold health and safety standards and act on guest feedback.

Required profile

• Tertiary or TAFE qualification in Business, Tourism or Hospitality Management.
• 2‑3 years experience as a Front Office Manager, Duty Manager or Hotel Supervisor.
• Current driver’s licence and a Working with Children Check (First Aid and OHS desirable).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with RMS, ReviewPro or REZDY systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with online booking software.
• Financial reporting and reconciliation experience within hospitality.
