Front Lift Driver

About the role

WorkPac is recruiting Front Lift Drivers to start as soon as possible in Malaga, working for a client that is Australia's leading provider of waste management and resource recovery solutions, with more than 50 years of experience and a nationwide network of over 330 sites. The position is a 2-month casual contract with potential for temp-to-perm, paid $47.40 per hour, on Mon-Fri 3:30am to 3pm and Saturday 3:30am to 12:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently, following training, operating procedures, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Load and unload commercial and industrial waste and transport materials to recycling and disposal facilities, completing tasks safely and on time.
• Maintain a professional image by providing good customer service and keeping the vehicle clean inside and out.
• Carry out routine vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety checks, fixing any issues early.
• Complete all paperwork, records and documentation accurately, using computerised systems and work-related technology.
• Comply with NHVR fatigue management requirements, regulations and mandatory training.

Required profile

• Heavy Rigid (HR) licence in Australia or Class 4 licence in New Zealand (minimum).
• HR or Class 4 driving experience.
• Waste industry knowledge and experience is desirable.
