About the role
We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to manage end‑to‑end sea and air import operations for our growing, family‑owned freight forwarding business in Chermside. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement and long‑term career opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end sea and air import operations.
- Liaise with shipping lines, transport providers and customs brokers.
- Coordinate cargo movements and track shipments.
- Prepare invoicing, documentation and cargo reporting.
- Ensure compliance with freight forwarding and import regulations.
Required profile
- Proven experience in freight forwarding or international logistics, particularly import handling.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CargoWise or similar freight management systems.
