About the role
IQVIA is seeking freelance linguists to translate life‑science content from Afrikaans into English. You will join a global community of translators and work on clinical trial documents and other regulated materials.
Key responsibilities
- Translate, review and edit Afrikaans source texts into clear, accurate English.
- Deliver high‑quality translations within tight deadlines for a variety of life‑science document types.
Required profile
- Native fluency in English and fluency in Afrikaans, both spoken and written.
- At least 1 year of experience translating life‑science content, with documented experience in clinical trial documents.
- University degree in translation/linguistics with ≥2 years experience, or ≥5 years experience without a degree.
Required skills
- Proficiency with translation management systems and CAT tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
