Formwork Carpenters - FIFO

About the role

Flanco, a Tasmea company and civil construction business serving the mining and resources sector, is hiring formwork carpenters for a long-term, ongoing FIFO project from Perth. Crews run lean, with small to medium teams of 5 to 30 people, and Flanco states that workers are not moved on after a project.

Scope of work

• Mills, crushers, concrete thickeners, conveyor footings and power stations
• Paste plants, footings, slabs, raft foundations, plinths and pedestals
• Walls, columns, ring beams and suspended slabs

Required profile

• Experience in a similar civil or mining infrastructure role
• Minimum 4 years of formwork experience
• Clean National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one, for gold mine sites
• White Card
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test, and ongoing testing during employment

Required skills

• Earthmoving tickets and all-round experience in steel fixing and concrete are advantageous
• Minimum Manual C class driver's licence; HR licence preferred but not essential
