Formwork Carpenter – Civil Construction (Darwin)

About the role

Join RC Construction as a Formwork Carpenter in Darwin, delivering high‑quality formwork for major civil infrastructure projects. You will work on 10‑hour days, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately.
• Set out, install, align, and dismantle formwork systems to specification.
• Apply proven formwork techniques on large‑scale civil projects.
• Collaborate effectively within small teams and communicate progress.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and reliability on site.

Required profile

• Valid White Card and current driver’s licence.
• Demonstrated civil construction experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work self‑motivated, safely and reliably.
• Proactive contribution to a safe working environment.

Required skills

• Experience with formwork systems such as Meva, PERI and RMD.
• Ability to operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) and work safely at heights.
