Food Services Assistant

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Food Services Assistant to help prepare meals and drinks for its residents. The role suits someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives through aged care, working alongside a team and residents to create meals that suit every individual.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food and drink
• Clean, including washing dishes
• Change the menu by working with the team and residents to create meals for everyone
• Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program
• Stay active and on your feet for most of your shift

Required profile

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
