Food Service Supervisor

About the role

The Food Service Supervisor will lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and excellent customer service. Reporting to management, you will coordinate staff activities, manage inventory, and uphold the brand’s standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain work schedules for kitchen and service staff.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation.
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.

Required profile

  • Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food‑service environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, shifts, days, and weekends.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Sydney, NS.
