Food & Beverage Attendant

About the role

Ibis Adelaide, a purpose-built brand hotel opened in 2014 with 311 rooms, a restaurant and bar on level one and a conference space, is looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant. The role delivers friendly and efficient food and beverage service that meets guests' expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and maximise sales opportunities through knowledge of products and suggestive selling
• Follow the correct sequence of service to a 5-star standard
• Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy using hygienic food service techniques
• Take responsibility for your own area, section and station
• Answer the telephone promptly and use product knowledge and suggestive selling to maximise sales

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience as a Food & Beverage Server
• A La Carte service, bar and banquets and events experience valued but not essential
• Valid RSA in South Australia
• Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
