Fleet Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join our Sydney depot in Arndell Park. You will coordinate all pick‑ups and deliveries, allocate vehicles, plan routes and dispatch drivers, ensuring smooth and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate deliveries and pick‑ups to the local fleet, using strong knowledge of the Sydney region.
• Manage drivers, monitor pallet control and proof‑of‑delivery (POD) processes, and ensure time‑slot compliance.
• Maintain strict cost control over all fleet activities, both pickups and deliveries.
• Act as the primary liaison between fleet operations and customer‑service teams.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time, to standard, and communicate any delays professionally.
• Oversee fleet costs while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and resolve daily operational issues.
• Ensure WHS and COR compliance and maintain high visibility and service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience managing a pickup fleet of 25+ vehicles.
• Current motor vehicle licence (forklift licence preferred but not essential).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability with great attention to detail.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Team‑oriented work ethic.
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing and provide a current police check.
