Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead finance across all Volaro Group entities, shaping revenue infrastructure and reporting while positioning for a future CFO role.

Key responsibilities

• Own consolidated and entity‑level financial performance reporting, including board and investor packs.
• Manage statutory financial statements, regulatory filings and audit processes for all entities.
• Maintain and improve the revenue infrastructure stack (Revenue Cloud, Xero, Syft) and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Support M&A and capital‑raise activities through due diligence, data‑room preparation and post‑acquisition integration.
• Build internal controls, delegations of authority and lead finance team development as the function scales.

Required profile

• Experience operating in multi‑entity, investor‑backed groups with varied revenue models.
• Hands‑on involvement in at least one M&A transaction and one capital‑raise process.
• Strong knowledge of Australian statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) with proven stakeholder management skills.
