Financial Analyst – Reporting & Automation

About the role

The Financial Analyst – Reporting & Automation will support the Animal Health markets in Australia and New Zealand by delivering financial insights, analytics and dashboard solutions. You will work as a business partner to improve reporting efficiency, automate processes and provide high‑impact analysis for commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Identify repetitive reporting tasks across AU and NZ and automate extraction, transformation and distribution to reduce month‑end close and forecast cycle times.
• Design, build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and KPI scorecards for sales, gross‑to‑net, OPEX and margin analysis.
• Use generative AI tools and structured prompt engineering to draft commentary, analyse variances and summarise trends.
• Partner with commercial and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Solid experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business analytics or finance transformation.
• Strong analytical ability and stakeholder influence skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI (including DAX and Power Query).
• Power Automate, SQL, VBA and SAP.
• Practical experience with enterprise AI tools for finance workflows.
