Financial Adviser - Established Client Portfolio

About the role

A well-established boutique financial planning business, supporting clients for more than two decades, is adding a new Adviser position to support its existing clients and grow its advice offering. You will work closely with the Founder and gradually take responsibility for a portfolio of around 50-70 clients across Australia, while the Founder focuses on broader business initiatives. The business provides operational and paraplanning support so advisers can concentrate on advice delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of clients
• Provide comprehensive financial planning advice across a broad range of client needs
• Conduct client reviews and ongoing strategy discussions
• Develop and implement tailored financial strategies
• Advise on superannuation, retirement planning and wealth accumulation
• Deliver strategic SMSF advice and ongoing client support
• Work with support staff to deliver efficient client outcomes
• Maintain high compliance and professional standards

Required profile

• Relevant financial planning qualifications and adviser accreditation requirements
• 5+ years' experience as a Financial Adviser
• Experience providing comprehensive financial advice
• Strong SMSF knowledge and advice experience
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills, able to build trust and long-term client relationships
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management capabilities
• Self-motivated and collaborative in a small business environment
