Financial Accounting Manager

About the role

Jewish Care Victoria is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to lead financial excellence across its aged care, disability and community services. This permanent full‑time position is based at the Head Office on St Kilda Road, Melbourne and reports to the Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee accounting operations and manage audit processes.
• Drive system improvements and mentor accounting teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across aged care, disability and community services.

Required profile

• CPA or CA (ANZ) qualification with a tertiary degree in accounting or related field.
• Proven expertise in accounting standards, integrated computerised systems and advanced Excel/financial modelling.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Transformational leadership experience, including leading teams through change.
• Experience in the aged‑care sector and familiarity with NDIS funding models is highly regarded.
