Financial Accountant

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will manage the financial accounting, analysis and reporting of Catering, Lifestyle and Administration costs for Bolton Clarke’s Residential Aged Care business. This hands‑on position combines detailed financial work with stakeholder partnership to provide meaningful insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journals, accruals and general ledger adjustments.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting activities, including balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse financial results, budgets and forecasts for assigned areas.
• Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts and provide financial guidance to operational stakeholders.
• Support audit processes, compliance requirements and identify opportunities to improve reporting and accounting processes.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Previous experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong reconciliation and general‑ledger accounting skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capability.
• Experience with Power BI or similar financial reporting tools.
