Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will provide transactional and reconciliation support for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This position works closely with the broader Finance team and various business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial processing.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end ownership of accounts payable, including invoice data entry, supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs.
• End‑to‑end ownership of accounts receivable, including invoice entry, credit control, direct debit processing and receipt allocation.
• Manage Billview for Telstra invoicing and handle AP/AR mailboxes, responding to client and vendor queries.
• Assist with month‑end tasks such as AP accruals, AR provisions and third‑party reconciliations.
• Support year‑end audit activities and reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts and collaborate with product, account and commercial teams on revenue queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on AP and/or AR.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite (preferred).
• Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning (preferred).
• Knowledge of Billview invoicing system.
