Finance Manager – Lead National Finance Team

About the role

Knight Frank is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a national finance team supporting a major retail portfolio based in Sydney CBD. You will work flexibly from the office or home, shaping financial operations through system enhancements, process improvements, and strategic leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse financial results, providing expert commentary and recommendations.
• Lead month‑end reporting, including accruals, IFRS adjustments and variance analysis.
• Coordinate annual budgets, forecasts and property outgoings reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate property and tenant database records.
• Mentor and coach a team of seven finance professionals.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification (essential).
• Minimum five years of property accounting experience within a major property group, preferably retail.
• Strong understanding of the property industry and trust legislation.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex portfolios and deliver results under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with MRI software (preferred).
