Finance Manager – Lead Finance Team

About the role

Join a large national professional services group with a positive, collaborative culture and flexible working arrangements (up to three days WFH). The Finance Manager will report to the CFO and lead a small finance team, overseeing reporting, budgeting, analysis, compliance and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a finance team of 2‑3 professionals.
• Prepare month‑end management reporting and analysis with commentary.
• Oversee year‑end financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Own budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Forecast cashflow and manage funding requirements.
• Ensure tax compliance (GST, payroll tax, income tax).
• Coordinate external audit activities.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial advice and analysis.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, currently in a Finance Manager role with team‑lead responsibilities.
• Broad skill set covering reporting, tax, analysis and month‑end processes.
• Hands‑on approach with strong business‑partnering capabilities.
• Positive, collaborative attitude.
