Finance Manager – Lead Finance Function & System Migration

About the role

Lyra Technology Group’s operating company All IT Services is seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Manager to own the finance function and support the organisation’s growth. Reporting to the CEO, you will provide trusted commercial advice, lead financial reporting and drive the transition from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, financial reporting, reconciliations and compliance.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports with clear commentary for senior leadership.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning and budget‑vs‑actual analysis.
• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including AP, AR, payroll, banking, billing and collections.
• Handle tax and statutory obligations such as BAS/GST, PAYG, payroll tax, FBT and year‑end requirements.
• Drive the migration from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including data migration, testing, cut‑over and ongoing system improvements.
• Partner with business leaders on commercial analysis, pricing, profitability and process improvement while maintaining strong financial controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial accounting or senior finance management.
• CA qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Xero and ability to quickly learn Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proven experience managing full month‑end and year‑end close, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning.
• Experience with Australian compliance requirements (BAS/GST, PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, FBT).
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
