Finance Manager

About the role

As Finance Manager at Hallmark Hospitality, you will lead the financial strategy and management for a dynamic hospitality group operating iconic venues across Brisbane. Reporting to the Directors and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the company’s financial health, compliance with Australian regulations, and support its growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
• Drive the annual budgeting process, forecast performance and provide actionable recommendations to the Board.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, delivering clear insights to senior leadership.
• Present financial results and analysis to Directors and the Senior Leadership Team.
• Coordinate taxation affairs and liaise with external tax advisors.
• Implement and monitor treasury controls to safeguard cash and liquidity.
• Supervise bookkeeping, payroll and general accounting functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or CA preferred.
• 5+ years of senior financial management experience within Australia.
• Deep knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation laws and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies that drive growth.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Experience using financial software and systems.
