Finance Manager – GST

About the role

Visy is looking for a Finance Manager – GST to become the go‑to expert on Goods and Services Tax across its operations in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. You will own end‑to‑end GST processes, ensure compliance, and provide strategic advice that influences business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and lodge BAS/GST returns for AU, NZ and SG.
• Lead GST compliance and governance, monitoring regulatory changes.
• Conduct technical reviews, variance analysis and exception testing to resolve issues.
• Advise on complex transactions, rulings and legislative updates.
• Drive process improvements, automation and data accuracy with finance teams.
• Mentor and uplift GST capability across the finance community.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with strong GST and indirect tax experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex GST legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
• High analytical capability with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in large, complex organisations with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on improvement and risk mitigation.
